  1. 1. REGIONAL OUTREACH CENTRE COORDINATOR, GULU

    Reports to : Sales & Marketing Director with a dotted line to the Distance Learning (DL) Coordinator

    Responsible for : Administration & Admissions Officer & Part time Lecturers

    Works Closely with : Enrolment Manager

    Main purpose of the job

    Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director the role holder will be required to execute the center’s sales and marketing strategy in order to drive the Centre’s Enrolment targets, direct day to day administrative operations and ensure a high standard of service delivery and compliance across all center activities in alignment with University operations.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Implement the Centre’s marketing, communications and public relations activities in the region.
    2. Lead student recruitment and annual marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Director and Enrolment Manager.
    3. Perform community outreach to secure local audiences for enrolment.
    4. Liaise with relevant offices to ensure that academic learning resources of an appropriate quality are available to the students.
    5. Maintain a database of prospective student inquiries, University contacts with prospective students, and receipt of admission application materials
    6. Provide information to prospective students concerning programs offered at the Centre
    7. Monitor revenue, expenses, and budget for the Centre and coordinate accounting functions with the appropriate University unit.
    8. Act as a liaison between enrolled DL students and the academic staff who teach specific modules.
    9. Develop, implement and recommend changes in the University’s plan to recruit prospective students in the Region.
    10. Act as a brand ambassador in the region ensuring proper and consistent use of CUU brand attributes.
    11. Develop reporting systems and processes for key stakeholders for regular, and adhoc reporting of student progress, attrition and satisfaction at the Centre.
    12. Perform any other duties commensurate with the position as assigned from time to time.

    Qualifications and Experience

    1. Master’s degree in Distance Education, Instructional Technology, Adult/Continuing education, Educational Leadership, or related fields
    2. Minimum of six (6) years of administrative/academic experience with increasing responsibilities in a higher education institution is required, with at least two (2) years in a senior management position.

  2. 2. REGIONAL OUTREACH CENTRE COORDINATOR, JUBA

    Reports to : Sales & Marketing Director with a dotted line to the Distance Learning (DL) Coordinator

    Responsible for : Admissions Counselor & Administration Assistant

    Works Closely with : Enrolment Manager

    Main purpose of the job

    Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director the role holder will be required to drive the Cavendish University Uganda Juba Outreach centre sales and marketing strategy formulation and implementation, direct day to day administrative operations and ensure a high standard of performance, service delivery and compliance across all centre activities in alignment with University operations.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Lead student prospecting and enrolment, as well as, semesterly marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing Director and Enrolment Manager
    2. Lead market outreach activities to secure local audiences for enrolment

    4. Provide information to prospective students concerning programmes offered at the Centre

    1. Master's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Entrepreneurship Educational Leadership, Education, Instructional Technology, or related fields
    2. Minimum of six (5) years of business or administrative leadership experience in a higher education institution is required, at least two (2) years in a senior management position

    1. Strong Sales, Marketing and Outreach experience is required
    2. Strong Interpersonal, Public Relations, and communication skills
    3. Excellent Oral and Written Communication skills

  3. 3. ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR

    Reports to : Centre Coordinator

    Main purpose of the job

    The role holder is responsible for maximising contact between the University and prospective students by sharing information with prospective students about programme offerings, admissions and degree completion requirements, as well as admitting and enrolling students into their desired program of study. This position performs student recruitment activities via electronic communication in addition to telephone and face-to-face meetings with prospective students.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Create rapport with prospective students through phone calls, sending emails, scheduling and conducting campus visits, meeting with walk-ins, conducting high school visits and events, follow up of inquiries.
    2. Conduct individual and group presentations to disseminate approved Cavendish University program information.
    3. Provide prospective students with the highest level of customer service through effective phone, electronic and face-to-face communication.
    4. Provide information to potential students with respect to program, format, admissions, degree options, requirements, costs and payment options.
    5. Address potential student concerns and seek appropriate resolution through stipulated channels.
    6. Assist the prospective student by performing appropriate follow up and coordination with team members. This includes working with employees in a team environment and providing accurate student information and assistance to other team members in and/or outside of their functional area.
    7. Support and assist student enrolment by providing information to potential students with respect to program format, admissions, degree options and requirements.
    8. Monitor and manage student database, student documents, and associated reports.
    9. Accurately record student data in a timely manner
    10. Participate in organizing on campus and off campus educational outreach activities to aid in the enrolment of qualified students.
    11. Meet semester and other assigned enrollment goals/expectations and interpreting information to improve performance

    Qualifications and Experience

    1. Bachelor's Degree from a reputable University
    2. Background working in a customer service, retail or recruitment environment
    3. Previous experience in a university or education environment is an added advantage

    Competencies and attributes

    1. Excellent oral and written communication skills
    2. Computer Proficiency in Ms. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, CRM platform
    3. Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment

  4. 4. ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT

    Reports to : Centre Coordinator

    Main purpose of the job

    The role holder will support the Centre Coordinator and Admissions Counselor in providing general office administrative support, support to admissions activities, oversee facilities and attend to customer queries as appropriate.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Provide friendly and professional customer care services at all times dealing with general and specific enquiries
    2. Participate in the observance of health & security matters, and social order at the front office
    3. Participate in planning and organization of outreach events
    4. Receive, sort, record and disseminate internally/externally generated correspondence & documents
    5. Maintain office records
    6. Maintain an acceptable stock of information resources and marketing resources at the front office
    7. Order and maintain office supplies at the Centre
    8. Oversee organization and ambience of the office

    Qualifications and Experience

    1. Bachelor's Degree
    2. At least two years' experience in a customer facing environment

    Competencies and attributes

    1. Computer Literacy
    2. Clerical and office administration skills
    3. Excellent oral and written communication skills
