Cavendish University Uganda (CUU) prides itself as a leading university in the region in innovative teaching and learning based on a student-centric academic model, which focuses on practical learning and imparting 21^st Century skills that foster employability, innovation and entrepreneurship.

CUU envisions its future premised on becoming a centre of excellence, innovation and transformation whereas its Mission is to transform and inspire students to reach their full potential in employment, entrepreneurship, and ethical leadership.

Cavendish University Uganda is licensed by the Uganda National Council for Higher Education since 2008 to offer academic programmes leading to the award of degrees, diplomas and certificates, and its Identity is grounded within its Logo that demonstrates a strong foundation for practical, learner-centred and participatory education.

The CUU colours; Blue, Grey and Silver were uniquely selected to depict the epitome of knowledge, timelessness and professionalism, respectively.

Our shield conveys the protection of knowledge and strength of the institution within a controlled environment.

The University’s motto, “Educate the World,” is exemplified by our vast student population hailing from over 20 countries across the globe.

The Lions symbolize strength, authority, nobility and leadership on one hand and on the other, a University that is trustworthy and reliable. The two-faced lions, therefore, represent the defence of knowledge and safeguard of its foundations.
