The CUU Graduating Class of 2020

All CUU Stakeholders and Friends

POSTPONEMENT OF 9TH GRADUATION FROM 27TH MARCH TO 21ST MAY 2020

I congratulate all our graduating class of 2020 upon reaching theis milestone. you must be ready for your graduation! As a university, we also look forward to your graduation day with excitement.

While we are quite advanced in ensuring we hold a colourful graduation ceremony for you on 27th March, you must now be aware that the world is faced with the Covid-19 pandemic (Corona virus), which currently has no cure and which spreads very fast through body contact. The adviced preventive measures include avoiding discretionary travel and social visits, sanitizing frequently touched items and surfaces, among others.

Although Uganda has not registered any case of Covid-19, most of her neighbouring countries have sadly registered some cases which is a big cause for concern for all of us. Cavendish University Uganda being a responsible university with an international outlook, we have judged it necessary to postpone the next graduation from the earlier planned date of 27th March 2020 to Thursday 21st May 2020, all conditions remaining favourable.

While you wait for the new date, please ensure to take all the necessary precautions to avoid contracting the Corona virus. Also provide leadership to your families and communities to ensure that they all stay safe from this fast spreading pandemic.

I wish you and your loved ones God's choicest blessings as we wait for your graduation day. To facilitate your employability, we will not wait for the graduation date but will issue Academic Transcripts as soon as they are ready.

The graduation fees for 2020 are as indicated below. Those who wish to pay in dollars will pay the dollar equivalent at the ruling rate.
